Since 1956, KHK Institute of Engineering has been doing its best in polytechnic education under the able stewardship of Dr D.Veerendra Heggade Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala who runs number of educational institutions and His Holiness Sri Vishwaprasannateertha Swamiji of Pejawar Math Udupi whose yeoman contribution to integrate India with the bonds of spirituality with touch of modernity. Today KHK has eight branches in diploma viz. Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & electronics, Automobile, Commercial Practice, Computer Science, Electronics & communication, Mechatronics engineering. These are as per the standards set by the Department of Technical Education of Govt. of Karnataka following AICTE norms. KHK gets students from government counselling to the extent of 100% for six branches. The remaining two branches viz.Electronics & communication and Mechatronics only offers the management quota.
Education enables a person to face new challenges, achieve progress and lead a successful life. The main focus of our Institution is to empower students with sound knowledge, wisdom, experience and training both at the academic level of Diploma Engineering and in the highly competitive global industrial market. The infrastructure facilities, state-of-the-art equipment’s and modern digitized library contribute to an enjoyable and an easy learning experience. We have the competent, talented and dedicated faculty who strive hard to monitor, mentor, appreciate and encourage each and every student to overcome their shortcomings and excel in their academic as well as personal life. The student centric academic structure aims at overall development of the students and also in developing outstanding professional skills. The co-curricular and extra-curricular activities develop versatile engineers who actively contribute a lot in their professional and social life.
I firmly believe that, our College is more than a place to learn, because it has learned faculty with skilled supporting staff and all the state-of-art infrastructure facilities. We provide an opportunity to grow by equipping oneself with everything required to achieve excellence. We ensure students get the best start to their future career to become smart and stately citizen of our glorious country, India.
I am proud to share that KHK is the first Institute in the state for awarding NBA recognisation our students have continued the trend by getting good percentage of marks in the examination every year. I am equally proud of our placement cell with high success rates every year. The undisputed strength of the institution is its alumni who are well placed in India and abroad.
I believe in moulding our students into good, socially responsible human beings by inculcating in them foresight, firm determination, hard work, discipline and right values.
